Meet Cheeto
This precious boy needed a complex surgery called a Ventral Bulla Osteotomy to remove a benign growth in his ear canal. Cheeto has had this growth for some time and was surrendered to the shelter due to it. The Wake County Animal Center had been treating him for months and reached out to us for help with his case as this is beyond even most regular vet facilities. Without a specialized surgery Cheeto would need to have been humanely euthanized for quality of life. Our team could not have that happen so we stepped up to cover his surgery. His incredible foster mom took amazing care of him post surgery and reported this whole personality came to life just a few weeks into his recovery. We are so happy to report Cheeto has been ADOPTED and is now living this best life, pain free.
Thank you so much to the amazing staff and surgeon at Wake Veterinary Hospital and Urgent Care for taking such great care of Cheeto and to his amazing foster mom who never gave up on him.
